Job role
The technician will keep machines safe and working well. The main work is to fix faults quickly, do regular maintenance, and make sure systems are ready for upgrades.
Duties
The job includes checking machines, solving problems fast, and following safety rules. The technician will also train operators, prepare systems for new products, and record all repairs.
Requirements
Applicants need Grade 12 and an N6 Trade Test in Instrumentation. A Diploma in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Automation is a bonus. At least three years of experience in automation or manufacturing is needed.
Skills in PLC programming are required. Knowledge of SCADA, HMI, and technical drawings will help. A driverโs license is also needed.
